What is a travel game?

A tourist game is the synthesis of terrain and city games. You can play it at any moment you like and on your own, since there's no personel needed. Instead all of the essentials are provided by the game card.

You can download the start card as a file to print out from the department Select a game or in a form of a printed folder in local tourism info point or in a local library.

A travel game works much better than the traditional sightseeing model, especially for families with children or young people. Instead of passively following a guide—whether live, in a book, or online—from point to point, from monument to monument, we have an exciting adventure that encourages active participation.

Travel games, like city games, are based on scenarios that guide you through selected locations, allowing you to see them from a different, unique perspective. They are designed for both tourists who want an alternative way to explore popular destinations, as well as locals who want to spend their free time in an engaging way and discover the unknown side of well-known places..

Tourist games feature elements such as route, monuments, nature, treasure and competition:

ROUTE It leads not only through the most interesting places in the area, but also through forgotten or seemingly less attractive ones – not included in traditional tourist guides. Thanks to the game, you'll discover the unknown side of various corners of Poland.

MONUMENTS The most interesting landmarks in a given town, as well as lesser-known places that, once incorporated into the tourist game, become a draw for visitors. Inscriptions, sculptures, or architectural details can provide clues.
